New Construction
WHW Engineering, Inc. has completed many new premier construction projects. Our ability to communicate with both the complete design team and the project owner has resulted in new building systems that both integrate with the Architect’s design, and comply with the owner’s system preferences.
Renovation and Retrofit
A major portion of work that WHW Engineering, Inc. performs is renovation and retrofit projects. WHW has developed into a firm who excels in finding the underlying problems, issues, and inefficiencies of an existing system, then re-designing the system within budget and space restraints.
Sustainable Design
The consulting mechanical engineer is on the front line of sustainable design practices. Building mechanical systems account for such a significant amount of energy use throughout the world, that the mechanical design is critical in achieving more sustainable buildings and projects. WHW Engineering, Inc. is dedicated to researching and implementing sustainable HVAC and plumbing design practices. We have experience incorporating sustainable design practices into a variety of projects, including energy efficiency, water conservation, thermal comfort, indoor air quality, etc. We have worked on many successful LEED projects, as well as projects with owner defined sustainable goals. We strive to define the needs and goals that provide the most value to the client, then achieving those goals in a way that doesn’t sacrifice or compromise the client’s desired building performance.
